A great alternative to deep well plates, racked microtubes conform to the SBS footprint and are just as versatile. These autoclavable, lidded racks and tubes are manufactured from tough polypropylene and perfectly suited to cold storage. Microtubes can be autoclaved, sealed and frozen for storage. The tubes offer additional volume capacity for sample dilution and /or mixing prior to transfer into microtitre plates. They are also ideal for a wide variety of laboratory procedures such as HTLV-III testing, RIA, EIA, PCR, Pharmaceutical quality control, blood bank sample freezer storage or transport of specimens and reagents.
